Story of the Apparitions
The Apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Bayside date back to the year 1970 when Veronica Lueken, the chosen instrument of Heaven, was graced with the first Apparition in her home on April 7th. This Apparition was also witnessed by her neighbor, Grace Pera. Our Lady instructed the seer to hold Vigils of prayer on the eves of the great feast days of the Church on the grounds of the old St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Bayside, in front of the statue of Our Lady of Grace. She promised that She would appear and give her a Message for the world at each Vigil beginning on June 18 th that year. The Apparitions continued for 25 years until Veronica's death on August 3, 1995.

Our Lady--"I wish to bring you tidings of great joy, but, My children, tonight there is great sorrow in Our hearts. We look upon a full conspiracy. The evil is widespread throughout your country. Many have fallen because of their love of money and power. It is only those who no longer recognize My Son as their Savior, who no longer recognize their God as being the Eternal Master, it is they who have developed a plan for the destruction of your children and your country.
"You, My child, find upon your earth now a land covered with darkness and evil. The victims of your decadent society are your children, for those are the innocent victims of their elders. Do you not recognize the advent of the Antichrist into your land, your government, your schools, your media, and yes, into My Son's House, Church? Woe to evil man that chooses to sell his soul to Lucifer for worldly gain of such temporary nature.
DECEPTION IN THE CHURCH
"There is great deception in My Son's House. Unless My message is heeded in My Son's House, I can no longer hold back His hand that will fall heavily upon you.

"It is a merciful God Who asks you to repent, Who asks you to mend your ways now, for their future is limited. Recognize the signs of your times. Be not blinded by your worldly pleasures and features of worldly living, for the forces of evil have set upon you a web! . . . "Sacrifice, atonement--is this too much to ask of you in the face of what lies ahead?
DESTRUCTION FROM WITHIN
"Your country, your world, your Church are being destroyed from within. The gates of hell shall not prevail against My Son's Church, but oh, the souls that are being lost to Us now! . . . [Words not clear] or your world as you know it, your Church as you know it, will no longer exist.
"Those . . . [Words not clear] with the Father will hold back the darkness. It will be on your decision; it will be of your free will to turn your backs on Us or to carry the light to the world.
"All messages given from My hallowed grounds must reach the world now. Your time now is through the New Year of your earth time. There are many trials ahead for your country now. Unless you retire from the evil inducements of the world outside, and devote your time to living within your spirit, and fortify your life with prayer and sacrifice, you will not remain under My mantle of protection.
A golden beam of light shines over Veronica's chair, who was absent that Vigil. Heaven is showing it is still present even when Veronica is not there.
"I am your Mother of Grace. I am the Mediatrix of all graces, and My graces and My Son's graces are to be given freely to all those who will believe. Believe, My children, just believe, and you will be given the way.
"The war is on, the battle of the spirits. You must decide your side. The middle road is nonexistent; there is only good or evil. You cannot serve both. . . . [Words not clear] you to make the decision: will you go the easy way and deny Us for the few years that you will have upon your earth?
"The trials and sorrows are upon you. I must make it known to you that what was to have been in the future shall be now. All now is your decision.
"I have wandered in tears throughout the world; I have pleaded in tears throughout the world. The blood of many will be shed to defend My Son's cross.
BISHOP AGAINST BISHOP, CARDINAL AGAINST CARDINAL
"There will be bishop against bishop and cardinal against cardinal, with satan in their midst. O woe to evil man! . . . [Words not clear] the forces, the elements . . . [words not clear] will be turned against you.
"The Ball of Redemption nears you! Hasten, hearken, and listen, for I will not repeat Myself much longer. The Ball of Redemption nears you! Many will die in this great flame.
"All who believe will be given the way, and they will be saved. All who come to My Son in belief will be saved."
Veronica--. . . an angel--oh, I see four angels. They are standing over the water. The water's rising. The water's rising.
Veronica saw in vision the Nativity scene, noting the serenity and happiness on the faces of Mary and Joseph. Though their surroundings were devoid of worldly luxuries or comfort, they were rich in the spirit.
